A quick thought about politics…

Here’s the thing about getting mean, or hateful or any other negative emotion going about politics; It closes off meaningful discourse, you know communication, that thing we Homo-sapiens supposedly do so well. Communication is the key to any peace, the key to any wealth and the key to all prosperity. Communication just use your inside voice, and listen when it’s not your turn to talk, be respectful of others while they speak so that they in turn will be inclined to be respectful of you while you speak, remembering your inside voice. If you find you cannot talk about something without getting angry follow this old nugget of wisdom; if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything. You can disagree and be nice at the same time, it might take practice not to be condescending at first, but keep trying, and just apologize (and mean it) if you overstep.
